How to Flash Android Devices with SPD UpgradeTool
step 01: Download SPD Flash latest version from downloads on the Windows computer
step 02: Download and install the latest version of Spreadtrum USB driver software
step 03: Find and Get the ROM/ firmware [.pac] file according to the suggested Android device
step 04: unzip the downloaded file into a new folder
step 05: Run SpreadTrum Upgrade tool. [.exe]
step 06: Switch off and Connect the device
step 07: After connecting your device –> Load Pocket and select PAC/PAC5 file
step 08: Click “Start Downloading”
step 09: Follow the instructions and continue the flashing process
step 10: The device will reboot automatically during the flashing
step 11: After a successful flashing, a passed message in green colour will appear on the tool
Important Factors
Be informed the SPD Upgrade Tool and the Research Tool are only compatible with Spreadtrum chipset installed smartphones and the SPD research tool supports only “.pac” files. None of “.p5c and pac.5c” firmware types is not flashed.
